Well, after Christy got home, she wanted to go for a run. I thought, what hell, I'll give it a try. I hate running. It's not enjoyable for me. The last time I ran was with Christy about a month ago. It was a 3 mile run. I had to stop and walk 4 or 5 times.
Well, today we ran 3.5 miles and I didn't have to stop once! All that work on the heavy bag in the garage paid off for my cardio.

I remember my first 2 years of running. It was really tough for me to stay into it. This year, I made a break through with the mental struggle I always had during my runs. I have managed to run a 15.6 mile and completed a half-marathon. It really becomes enjoyable when you drop the weight.

Half-marathon, good for you. That is no small feat. Christy says that I could be a good runner if I stick with it. The iPod has definitely made runnning a bit easier. Thanks for the encouragement!
